Parking is within a short distance of the terminal. Long-and short-term parking at Palermo Airport is handled in several parking lots that are within a few hundred meters walk of the terminal building.

P1 Short-term Parking at Palermo Airport

At P1, the most affordable option, drivers have 240 car parking spaces to their use. P1 is only 500 meters, a 5 minute walk, from the terminal. But if you don't want to walk because you have luggage with you: a free shuttle bus links the terminal and the parking lots of P1 and P3.

At P1 the first 15 minutes of parking are free of charge. Parking for up to 12 hours costs 8.00 euros, parking from 12 to 24 hours costs 13.00 euros. Parking up to 2 full days costs 25.00 and the fee for parking up to 3 days is 35.00 euros. After that, parking charges go up by 10.00 euros for each successive day. Occasionally, there are special offers on during the quieter months of the year, for example in January and February. At times parking fees can be as little as 7.00 euros for the first 12 hours, especially if bookings are made online directly with GESAP, the airport operator.

P2 Short-term Parking at Palermo Airport

This is the closest parking lot to the terminal – it takes just one minute to walk to P2, as the parking lot is directly opposite the terminal! Here travelers with a vehicle will find 770 parking spaces for their use.

P2 also offers the first 15 minutes free of charge. After that, parking for up to 1 hour costs 3.00 euros. Parking from 1 to 2 hours costs 6.00 euros, and 2 to 3 hours are charged at 8.00 euros. After that, periods of parking lasting from 3 to 8 hours are charged at 10.00 euros. Parking 12 to 18 hours costs 16.00 euros, and parking from 18 to 24 hour periods costs 18.00 euros. After that, every successive 12-hour period or fraction thereof costs 9.00 euros. During special promotional periods of the year motorists can expect to pay as little as 10.00 euros for 12 hours, but only if they book online via GESAP.

P3 Long-term Parking at Palermo Airport (low cost)

It takes ca. 8 minutes to walk from the terminal to P3, a lot less time with the free shuttle that links the terminal with P1 and P3. This long-term, low-cost parking facility offers motorists 150 parking spaces.

The first 15 minutes of parking at P3 are free of charge. Parking up to 12 hours in this car park costs 7.00 euros. At P3 parking for periods of 12 to 24 hours is charged at 10.00 euros, while parking up to 2 days costs 18.00 euros, 3 days 26.00 euros and 4 days costs 36.00 euros. The parking for 5 days reduces down to 44.00 euros, while parking 6 days costs 52.00 euros. From day 7 onward, and for each successive day thereafter, motorists pay 8.00 euros on top of the special rate of 55.00 euros charged for 7-day periods.

Payment for Long and Short-term Parking at Palermo Airport

There are automated payment machines within the parking lots that accept both cash, debit and credit cards, and there are also automated payment points within the terminal itself, inside the Arrivals area. Motorists can also pay at the exit barriers, but here only credit cards are accepted.

Valet Parking at Palermo Airport

Here parking is taken care of in an area under 24-hour CCTV surveillance and with 24-hour operator assistance. At the manned payment point motorists can pay with cash, debit and credit cards. Valet parking is mainly reserved for business customers. It is possible to join a membership scheme that will entitle card holders to special parking rates and benefits.

Getting to Long and Short-Term Parking at Palermo Airport

The airport approach road is accessible from E90 motorway in either direction. Simply follow the "Aeroporto" signage. At the second roundabout, signs will appear for the parking lots. Follow the green P3 signage for long-term parking at Palermo Airport, and the blue one for P2 short-term parking at Palermo Airport. This is also the direction for the car rental returns area and valet parking facility.
